Senior researcher
I am a mountain lake limnologist transitioning to paleolimnology. I am currently working on a project to disentangle the effects of climate warming and atmospheric nitrogen deposition on West Sayan mountain lakes (Siberia). I have a wide range of interests including global warming, phosphorus and nitrogen biogeochemistry, primary production limitation, biodiversity under global change, phytoplankton and diatom ecology, fire ecology, winter ecology, socio-environmental history, image analysis, extracellular enzyme activities and eDNA metabarcoding.
