My main research interests are focuses on understanding the dynamics of forests ecosystems under Global climate change in northeastern Asia, tree growth strategies, spatial structure, as well as the dendroecological approach of past disturbance reconstructions. Prior to pursuing a career in Siberian Federal University, over the last 10 field seasons I worked in the Russian Far East territory. The theme of my PhD thesis getting in 2016 focused on a structure and dynamics of temperate forest communities.  Currently, I am work on my project focused on influence of strong tropical cyclones on the natural dynamics of old-growth forest ecosystems of the Russian Far East.
