Alberto Arzac, Ph.D.

Head of laboratory

I am a plant ecologist focused on the effect of the environmental factors controlling tree growth. I use a multi-proxy approach combining dendrochronology, quantitative wood anatomy, tree-growth modeling and remote sensing to get a better understanding of plants’ response to the environment over long spatial gradients.
